In 2002, the COGEMA*, La Hague and Pierrelatte sites, launched a road safety campaign in an attempt to give equal priority to risks encountered at work and on the road. At La Hague this approach took the form of a widespread billboard campaign and road safety workshops on the road transport infrastructure, car population, vehicle maintenance, road signs and driving behavior. At the Pierrelatte site, employees were encouraged to visit simulation "impact and somersault" simulation test stands to enable them to better understand the consequences of dangerous driving. |
