One cask of spent fuel from the Swiss nuclear power plant of Mühleberg arrived at the COGEMA plant of La Hague on October 14th, 2005, at 9:30 am.
The fuel elements shall be stored at the COGEMA-La Hague pools for cooling, and will be then reprocessed to recover valuable materials and condition the final waste for return to Switzerland for disposal.
