At the UP2 plant, shearing of fuel assemblies from a batch of EDF 1300 MWe fuel was completed in the R1 head-end facility. All units are shut down. Scheduled outage work is in progress. A total of 849 metric tons of uranium have been sheared to date this year.

At the R7 vitrification facility, lines A and C are on stand-by. Line B is in operation. A total of 263 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.

At the UP3 plant, shearing of fuel elements from HAMAOKA* was completed in the T1 head-end facility. All units are now shut down. Scheduled outage work is in progress. A total of 713 metric tons of uranium have been sheared to date this year.

At the T7 vitrification facility, lines A, B and C are on stand-by. A total of 358 canisters of glass have been produced to date this year.


Work in the Moulinets Cove

Work continues on modifications to the discharge pipe in the tidal basin:

- radiological monitoring of sediments has revealed no anomalies, although there are fluctuations close to the old discharge pipe;
- final excavation of the center section continued despite very difficult oceanic and meteorological conditions.
