The spent-fuel shipment announced by COGEMA on 29 November left Germany on 6 December 2001.Eight casks of spent fuel from German nuclear power plants are expected to arrive at the COGEMA La Hague rail terminal in Valognes on Thursday, 6 December 2001, some time after 11:00 a.m.
