Departure of vitrified residues shipment

A shipment of 6 Castor transport casks, each containing 28 canisters of vitrified residues, left the COGEMA rail terminal in Valognes, this morning at 06.47 am (local time) heading for the German storage facility at Gorleben (Lower Saxony).
