Spent fuel shipment from the Netherlands arrives in France

A TN 17-2 cask carrying seven spent fuel assemblies bound for the COGEMA-La Hague reprocessing plant left the Borssele nuclear power plant in the Netherlands on 20 May 2002 and arrived at the Valognes rail terminal on 21 May 2002. The shipment is covered by a 1993 reprocessing agreement between EPZ and COGEMA for fuel from the Dutch utility's power plant.
